Any reason in particular you need the 3GB version of the GPU? (gaming at high resolutions, multiple monitors, etc)

Also you could save some money by going with the P8P67 Deluxe instead of the ws revolution

Toss the SSD and get a crucial M4 instead.


Also, why the WS mobo, get the pro or deluxe.

I run a 3 monitor setup. Also GPU intensive programs. rendering. civil CAD 3D. etc.

I have heard great things about it and have the C300 in my sig rig. This little guy has been causing a stir though. 510 read and write with great software. worth a shot!


And I heard the WS was great for SLI due to the x16/x16 pcie

Yeah, the M4 and the 510 are better than teh sandforce drives atm, due the the amount of issues with them.

Also you may want to look into mobos with pci-e 3.0. Asus is releasing some soon. So when IB comes out you can sell the i5 you have and upgrade no hassle.

Yea i was looking at that. It may sound stupid but if im putting money into a build, one thing i hate is an UGLY MOBO!!

you really won't notice any difference between x16/x16 and x16/x8 sli
