i wanted to o/c my cpu a bit more but i need better cooling. so i went to the shops and saw this case Armor LCS. i was a bit interested because i wanted a new case as well. here is the link:

http://www.thermaltake.com/product/C.../ve2000bws.asp

i know some of you guys will say "just get custom W/C" but living here in Australia, parts are limited. The only thing i can find are kits. (TT, Asetek) thats all. so i'm thinking since this WC has twin rads would it be better than other kits (Big water etc.).

i need opinions please. what do you all think?

That does look better then most of there stuff, the pump looks bigger, but I couldn't find any flow or head info on it...What makes you think we would say to build your own........But before you decide to get this , check out this site...It's in your neck of the woods...I have bought from them before, Tricia there is a total Sweetheart and would help you decide on anything there...Why dont you have a look before you lock yourself into the T-Take stuff...I only say this because I would like you to get some thing that will be a good value and you would be glad to have further down the line...I cant give you an un-biased opinion on T-Take WC gear....Take a look here...RADIICAL COMPUTING - Copper Plates

I bought one of there pump heads and they delivered it to Arkansas, USA for $10.00 shipping, thats cheaper than a lot of the stuff I buy here!!!...Upgrading the T-Take stuff is what the rub is...It's just not high performence stuff to start with and then I think most of the kits only use 1/4 inch tubing....There really not any better then high end air cooling...I think some people buy them just for quiet computing to get rid of some of there fans....Dont get in a hurry to buy your stuff and take a good look around the Radiical site and see what you can afford, and I would be glad to help you piece togaher a budget WC rig...I'm usally hanging out around here anyway.....I dont hate T-Take it's just not something I would want you to waste your money on, especially if we can figure you out some thing better...It's probably going to cost at least $150.00 US.. But that will be able to get something that will cool real well and be easily upgradeble...

Yeah Buddy, That is a WC rig...I'd get the 2-pass rad instead of the single pass..Where it says "Ask A Question" in the top left corner, you can E-mail them and find out about the socket compatibility....I'm glad to see you are getting something that good..Thats very nice, and will cool well and be upgradable...Good Job...

I get around 16C less at load...I dont have my Stinger WB installed yet I'm building an internal set-up for it...The temp I gave you there is from an external unit that I'm going to retire to a hard drive cooler...My new internal has a 18W Laing DDC pump with a aftermarket top, I will be getting 2.99 gpm and around 19ft of head, a Black Ice Xtreme ll rad and a Danger Den plexi 5 1/4 in res....I'm using 7/16 id tube with 1/2 high folw fittings....I'm only going to cool the CPU with it, I should be getting some kicking temps with my Stinger WB...I will be running it with naked core chips, I took off the IHS on them....I'm looking forward to getting it set-up...This stuff is a lot of fun.. If you have any problems setting up your stuff when you get it dont be afraid to come back and ask some questions, we like to help people, plus we like talking about this stuff.....fstfrddy here an the forum makes the Stinger WB's...I left some pic's a few days ago it should still be on this page, take a look at them, they are super nice!!!!

Thats the one I usally suggest to people who want to get a kit, didn't know you could get it there....That is one of the best kits you can get in that price range..A couple of weeks ago the had them on sale for $200.00, they usally go for $250.00...I know the components in this one better then the Radiical, so I would have to say go with the Swiftech it's not what I would really consider a "kit" it's all top notch components...Is everything there so expensive or is it just this kind of stuff ?

On the subject of cases with built in LC systems, how about this one? Similar to the Armor page, only on this one details of the cooling system are listed...

I'm curious because I'm somewhat interested in getting one myself.

I think the BT would outperform that water setup

you could try getting that setup and then upgrading the parts as they become available near you

I wouldn't buy that...Unless that is the only thing you can get there..It might be OK for quiet computing or something but thats about it...If you dont want to put one togather yourself, which is the best and cheapest...Dont get any less of a kit than these...Swiftech Apex Ultra Dual 120mm Water Cooling Kit....

Swiftech H20-120 Premium 120mm Water Cooling Kit
