None of this pointless chitchat, just straight to the point.

Plan:
1- Take 1 Antec 300
2- Prime
3- Yellow base for exterior
4- Flat black interior
5- Glossy black racing stripes down the front/top/back
6- Left side panel: make dark purple Bumble Bee Camaro form outline
7- Right side panel: make dark purple Bumble Bee Autobot form outline
8- Front: make dark purple Autobot outline
9- Put hardware in
10- Package it up
11- Wrap Antec 300 box
12- Put under Christmas tree for myself.
13- Open box
14- Pretend to be surprised and hug myself, because nobody else will

Work photos starts tomorrow. Primer is drying as we speak/you read.
The yellow in the picture is not that ugly in reality.

Worklog:
First things first (This post)
Stupid paint is stupid
Yellow is done, black stripes are going on
Stripes are unveiled.

Sam's (girlfriend) new computer, seeing as her old one is old and slower then a baby T-Rex (because real T-Rex is fast and B.A!)

1. Suggestion. Put an autobot logo on the top in front of the top fan?
2 Question. Are you going to but some clear over it?
3. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it done.
whatever you do, don't use any painters touch clear on the Universal Gloss, it will turn white (or it might, it happened to me during The Intelligence). Not to mention the universal gloss will be very glossy if its anything like the universal cardinal red

can't wait to see the paint job

I'm going to put a clear acrylic spray over it, it never dried white or anything for me. Just a light coat then a swipe and then it's on solid

Also, don't think that the room is put on hold, I just can't really work on it due to migraines constantly.

Well, the yellow paint I bought is being a prick, and drying like Spider mans poop.
I'm not putting it all on in one thick layer, I'm doing multiple thin layers, what the hell is going on here?

Have to assume you got metal and plastic paints (hope you did)
Its possible, your not working at the right temperature for your paint to work, your paint can should tell you the right temperature to be working in.

Also could be there's still grease/oil from fingers on the case, this case cause that effect.

Have you been sanding after every coat and cleaning each one before you commence the next layer of paint? (yeah i knows a bit extreme)
nice!! cool idea!!
and the paint job looks great!!

I've been sanding each coat with a 600 grit, just a little bit, and no grease is on them, I actually have not toutched the side panel with my fingers yet. I grabbed each by the side and then tossed them on sheets of wood.

Dude.. the paint isn't the right way if you read the post. It's supposed to be smooth and eventually look like Bumble Bee, not Spidermans ass.

Interestingly, I have just the right number of windows open for this to show up as "Paint: Sams bum..." on my toolbar.

I hope to have an update sometime in the next week (nothing to really report on besides the paint is yellow)

I know it's been a while since the last update. But fear not, I'm still working; I just finished up the yellow coats (all 7 of them) and I'm onto the black coats now

Just there won't be any more "Sam" left, it's my present to me now.

Edit: oh damn, I just realized the first coat of black I put on was flat, not glossy, oh well the next coats will be with glossy.

I came rhinos
Looks good man. I was just thinking about how a yellow case might look. Love the transformers idea though. As said before, you should top it off with some more autobot themed stuff.

Got the black lines done
I think it looks spectacular.
Next up: Autobot design on front, and right panel.
