jujst wondering how good is this and whats the best program to do it with, i would like to put my games on the hdds so i dont need the cd/dvd to play the games once ive installed them <br />

</div>use your burning software of choice and goto create image of disc.. and rip it..you will then need a virtual drive like .. um.. daemon tools or something to mount the image.. or you could just look for a no cd patch since ya own the games

hmmmm, ok thanks ill look into that and see if i can figure it out, not to good with the software side of pc's

Try out Alcohol 120%, it works great. Can make virtual drives and creates .iso's of your games, so you don't have to insert the cd every time you play a game. Very handy IMO. <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />

Try *cough* limewire *cough* for alcohol, thats how i got it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

I use game drive (got it with my vid card). It works, but it's like 4 gigs per game, of course. I've heard of programs that don't copy the entire disk to HD, just what's needed, just can't remember right now. Heard it on another forum awhile ago. I could be wrong though.
