Buy this 2.1? [If yes, I need to leave in ~20 minutes]

I'm guessing yes, but just in case anyone has had quality issues I figured I'd ask.

My friend has it and it seemed to me as a good choice
that right there is a bit pricy if you pay full price... my friend bought these for 70 bucks brand new off the bay mate. none the less one of the better quality speakers!
I've been googling reviews and they seem to have a reliability issue 1.5-2yrs out.

no idea about that, but my friend has home theater and pc speakers from klipsch, so far all his equipment has lasted without quality loss or defects. he bought his speakers about 7 month ago and they sound now better then on day one i would say

I changed my mind and went with a solid pair of headphones when I found a pair of Shure SRH440 for $68 +tax.
I've had the pro medias for over six years without one problem. The computer is close enough to our back door that in the summer time I drag them outside by the pool.

The still sound outstanding for powered pc speakers.
I also switched up because my apartment includes electric and I figured the rig/monitor was running through enough of it that I should cut down elsewhere. The SHR440s are impressing me though.
