If you are looking for a good Socket A (462) motherboard I strongly suggest this one by ASUS. It is under $125.00 and is an overall superb board supporting SATA, RAID, Onboard Audio and LAN.

I also suggest staying with the nVidia chipset for your motherboard selection with AMD right now. VIA chipsets have been nothing but a problem for many users. I have heard rumors though that VIA has been coming out with stronger drivers and chipsets for the AMD motherboards though.

Moved.

For socket A this is what I recommend. All great boards which will overclock about the same... Pick the DFI's for higher FSB's and less voltage headaches if you're really trying to push a high FSB overclock (240FSB +).

DFI LANPARTY NFII B ULTRA - right on your price
DFI ULTRA INFINITY (same thing, no pretty stuff) - About 80-90 dollars
ABIT AN7
ABIT NF7-S Ver.2 (not nf7-s2)
Shuttle AN35

All of these are Nforce II Ultra chipset... Only way to go when working with
Socket A.
