I've made my mind up and gonna go with a 27 inch 1440p monitor but now can't decide on which to get since there is so many.. The ones i know about are Overlord Tempest, Monoprice CrystalPro, Crossover 27Q, Achieva Shimian, Qnix QX2700, IRUN ZT-SH270QHD, ZENOS ZT SH270QHD, IMON 27", FIRST FSM-270YG, LG Flatron Cinema D2743P-BN..

Heres my big question for you guys... Is all the Korean IPS monitors using the same LG panel? If so then really all the Korean ips screens are the same thing except for different housings..

Prime uses are for gaming then casual surfing and school.

Once you go with an IPS panel, you'll never go back. Had my Dell Ultrasharp U2711 for a couple years now, perfect!

If you want to risk it, go with korean, if you can afford it, get $700 Dell with 3 year premium warranty

I love my HP. There aren't many settings on it, but the colors are very well calibrated (favoring the warm side).

I wanted to try and go with an IPS sold in the US just for the warranty and ease of possible return but Tempests are out of stock for another month... So is the CrystalPro's at Monoprice. I took the chance and bought a Crossover 27Q midday yesterday.

Heres my model -
