Ditch the 9850, it's old tech. As already stated go for at least PhenomII X3, and try to unlock it with the Gigabyte board (Don't know the exact model). If you don't know, if you get a certain X3 and the GB Motherboard, you can unlock the 4th locked core in the X3, giving you a Phenom X4
