I bought dual green 12" cold cathodes from xoxide, they work great and have a handy switch which you can turn them off from the outside of the case

They come with double side sticky pads, so very easy to mount

the cheapo logysis ones work just fine for me. they arent as bright as some of the more expensive ones.....but then again, I dont want accent lighting to be very bright anyway.

I have a UV Logisys and it works pretty well, not that bright but it was cheap.
Heres link: http://www.svc.com/clk15uv.html

Sound reactive too, useless IMO since it just works by having a microphone in the inverter.

Get the logisys from xoxide. They're cheap and very bright compared to other brands I've seen. Also been running over a year so that helps too...
LOGISYS or the Tt ones work great!

If you mount one High and one Low near the side window you get a nice glow. Here's the LOGISYS Blues on my computer:
so yeah basically the lights came today and i installed them, only the problem was one wouldnt light up i juiigled the cable and it worked, but it would go right back to only lighting up half way. i couldnt fix it so i ordered another cathode, lol.

so what i want to know is for all those ppl who are using dual cold cathodes, where are you putting your little box that the cathodes plug into. i cant find a good spot to put it

I just taped mine down to the bottom of the case near the back I suck at wire management tho. Oh, and you should return those lights. Not buy another set.

I put my little box thingy on the drivebay where my hard drive is, it hides behind the non-window part of my case, and so do the wires, so it's all good

nice. well what i decided to do was in my case (raidmax sagitta) there is a little plastic thing they added on to help hold pci cards without screws. it is an ingenious design, but i hate it! lol, it takes up so much space

so i just unscrewed it and put the box where the pci thing was, lol. my box is in the back of my case rather than the front which is where i assume is where you put yours?

I see you live in Ohio. If you have a micro center near by, they might have some Ultra brand 12" CCFL's. They are priced at $17.99, but ring up as $9.99.
