Even though I love to help. And am more than happy to give assistance to anyone who need's help with learning C++ or just have questions for class. Or need a program made, if you are curious where I learned my basics I will share with you.

http://cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/

I suggest though you look more than even there. Here is one thing also, I would like other people who have learned c++ on there own to add other sites.

On building compilers or compiling binary or just running the compiling command or well be more descriptive on what you are asking. I can't give you a full answer sorry.

Alright for all you people who want more than just C++.

Combining MySQL and PHP

C (stand alone) Tutorial
http://www.its.strath.ac.uk/courses/c/

TCP/IP Programing Tutorial

Visual Basic (disgusting)
http://www.vbtutor.net/vbtutor.html

My suggestion for people out there just starting go with VB (Visual Basic) I was looking for some good ol QBasic links but all my old ones are dead.

Compilers:
to run and see php and MySQL get apache from www.apache.org/

for c++ I suggest either a unix, linux, Visual Studio's 6(VS6) (not .net even though company's are moving to it I dislike it's frame work). If you can't find VS6 then get KDevelop www.kdevelop.org/

Java http://www.thefreecountry.com/progra...avatools.shtml

Really you want to know an operating system that has the built on board (compilers/builders) and don't cost you a dime and are easy to use. Unlike MSWXP (Microsoft Windows XP). UNIX which is free and the ISO's can be found at freebsd.org. They even make a 64bit version.
