Hi everybody! I'm going to receive the NZXT Starter Kit that has different extensions that I could very much need. For the PCI-E extensions it comes with a 6pin AND a 6+2pin. Is there any issue with mixing the two? I have the NZXT HALE90 650W and all outputs on the PSU should be "The same" so it shouldn't matter where i connect it.
Thanks for helping this ignorant fool

Not sure by what you mean when you say mixing them but... It is ok to plug a 6 pin into the 8 pin PCIe PSU port and it is ok to attach an 8 pin extension to a 6 pin cable. You just wont be able to use the +2 part obviously. One thing to be careful about though is not to plug a 6-pin into a 8-pin CPU port. It should not fit and should not go in but when you are dealing with aftermarket parts and cables sometime things can be made wrong. If you where to plug a 6 or 8 pin PCIe plug into a 8-pin cpu plug and then plug it into your video card chances are you are going to smell something.

Hi. By mixing them i mean using the 2 extension cables for the Video card (It needs 2 6 pins), one 6 pin, the other 6+2 (I'll not be using the 2 "extra pins"). I'm asking if there will be any issue with "mixing" these two cables as I don't know if the 6+2pin uses/draws power differently than the 6pin.

No it will be fine. In fact some lesser PSUs just have the extra 2 pins come off of the 6 wires and only have 6 wires go to the PSU.
