I am wondering can any 120hz monitor support AMD HD3D? Or can HD3D only work via Displayport? I thought it could work via DVI as well? If so, where do i purchase the 3d glasses?

The monitor you listed Acer HN274H is an Nvidia 3D Vision monitor only. Nvidia card required. Not HD3D supported. The monitor must be a HD3D supported monitor like the Samsung SA950 as an example. Tri-Def software needs to be loaded to run the 3D in games. The SA950 monitor has a 2D to 3D setting if your wanting to view 3D movies. The glasses are included with the monitor.

As for this thread the answer is - No not just any 120 Hz monitor will support AMD HD3D.
