Well, I bent mine, but not only that the mounting system is kinda stupid. It doesn't use a normal screw. So I was in the market for a new hanger and a new derailleur. Can anyone help me out? 7 speed, 26 inch. Bike is a pos Magna Excitor

These are what I came across, Since I will need a new hanger 'I was thinking of getting this. Its an all in one. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ndingMethod=rr anything will be better then what I got. And then this as a chain remover. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ndingMethod=rr.

Check the chain first for a master link it will have a pin on it. If you need the remover DO NOT PUSH THE PIN ALL THE WAY OUT, get it near the end then loosen the chain and remove it or you will never get that pin back in.

Personally I would just get a singlespeed conversion kit for $20 convert it and be done with it. Will save weight and front and rear and you wont have to keep buying crappy derailleurs.

hey, I ended up picking the derailleur. I liked it. But the first time I installed it. I missed the front derailleur. Then I did it again and pushed the pin out all the way... THEN I got it working and then the chain crapped out on me. I ended up picking up a sram chain along with some good brake cable. All seems to be well. I still gotta trim the chain.
