I have seen in some screenshots that HWMonitor can see how much you system is suing in watts, is thi strue?

No, its measuring which power state your CPU is in. If you want to measure actual power consumption you need to but a hardware device like a Kill-A-Watt.

pretty much this, a Kill-A-Watt meter will show you how much your system is pulling from the wall.
