I just ran super PI for 7 mins , and it ran good , my processor is at 275x9..the cpu reads at 40 degrees and the chipset gets to 72 from 70..
can i go any higher , my voltage is 1.5

u can go higher, but not much...the temp u put is that load or idle, your Vcore could possibly go a little higher, still a good OC

u have low ambient temps dont u? can u tell me more about your RAM?

you might want to make sure its seated properly, and also consider removing it, cleaning the bottom off thouroughly and applying AS5 to try to get cooler temps..

oh yah it cant be that its not transfering the heat cause the heatsync is really really hot(like burn my finger on it hot)

if your chipset H/S is hot enuff to burn your fingers, i would say its time to take a look at it . And yes it will help getting a stable overclock.

lol well what can i do about it i have like 1mm space between the video card and the heatsync..i think gigabyte just crapped out on the design of this motherboard
