I would like some help configuring fans to have the best cooling possible.

can someone tell me how I should have my fans?

I know front fan intake and back is exaust.

Should I put in a side fan? if so which way?

also, i am going to mount the H100i on the top... should I have both fans blowing up (out of the case)?

please any advice would be great

both fans for h100i on top pulling hot air out of the case and out of the radiator. You could also mount to more underneath for push/pull. One intake fan in front. And one outtake fan in the back. Maybe also consider an intake fan in the bottom. I´m not super knowledgeable about this but hose are my 2 cents.

What should I do with the side of the case?
if you have a graphics card that gets hot you could put in a fan that pulls the hot air from over the graphics card out. Might make it a bit noisy though. I don´t like fans in the side myself, but you can always try it out and see what works, and how much noise it generates.
I'm about to do a build with a c70 and a h100i tomorrow, do you mean having the fans on the outside of the case? I was going to out it inside with the fans pushing air up and out through the radiator. I'd be interested to see pics and how you get on.
