Can't change res after windows reinstall

I just reinstalled Windows on my dad's PC, and now I can't set the resolution above 640x480, and the Color is locked at 16-bit. What can I do to fix this?

You need to install the graphic card drivers.

You need to reinstall the graphics drivers that came with your computer. That will fix it

Install you GPU drivers

why not another reinstall the driver again.

Make sure you also install the motherboard drivers while you are reinstalling drivers, as they will probally be important too
