The very first time i tried PAX drivers, I literally had to have Robert Mccleland Remote into my PC to make them install properly!
I love his drivers and i refuse to use Creatives, but i WISH they were easy to install.
I always do a Clean uninstall of all Creative stuff from my system using Driver Fusion and removing Creative stuff from registry as well.
I am also making sure Windows Driver Signing is disabled.
I have tried both installing from the setup.exe file and also through the Device Manager. Each time after installation completes.
I am left with either "High Deffinition Audio Device" OR " Creaitve X-fi WDM" in the DEVICE MANAGER!
Same thing would happen with the older versions of his drivers!
Hence why i had to have him literrally log in an somehow make them install right! He kept swapping out different files from the PAX Driver extracted Folder. I dont remember what he did to finally get them working.
Anyway, I just thought i'd start this thread to see if ANYONE here has gone through this at all and knows how to get them to install properly
Please help
