Every time I try to install 10.9 on my new ssd, I get an error message saying that everything else included with the package installed correctly, except the driver itself. However, on my next reboot, it seems to be installed and working fine, except for the fact that it is acting like nothing is installed.

Has anyone else had this problem? I tried it with both my onboard video and my 4770, no luck on either.

The funny thing is though, I didn't have these problems until I installed my new ssd and reinstalled windows the old fashion way.

Have you tried running driver sweeper? Maybe it won't install the driver because of a conflict. Another option may be to download the driver files, and use device manager to manually install them.

Should also try reformatting along with using driver sweeper mentioned in the above post.Run HDTune pro and check for faults on any of the critical components if it was a harddisk problem(read memory i think? been a long time since i used it).

Hope this helps.
