I am trying to install a theam in Ubuntu from www.gnome-look.org, "ATER", in this case. So I download the tarball, and drag it into the theam preferances window with all the others, and it only installs the windows borders for the first theam listed in the tarball! How can I get it to install the entire theam?

ATER is only for window boarders, then is not icon set or anything included. Thats what I'm using right now in FreeBSD. Is there a theme package of it now though. Do you have a link please?

EDIT||
found it
Do you have Compiz and xgl running now?

Ya, thats what I downloaded. When I go to add it to the list of theams, though, it only adds the first one in the file

As for your second question, no, still no luck with XGL (unless you call blocky black boxes displaying for 5 seconds before crashing back to the login screen sucess, lol)
