Hello Overclockers,

First post here and I need a little bit of help.
Ive got an FX-8350 slapped into an MSI 990FXA-UD65 motherboard using an Asetek 510LC liquid cooler with a push pull setup.
Im having difficulties with overclocking my BD over 4.2ghz.
Current setup is 210 fsb with a 20x multiplier at 1.455525 Core Voltage.
When I run IBT AVX on Very High with this setup I pass with flying colors but anything higher and I fail every time. I more often than not Freeze though I have BSOD a few times too.
Been using a mixture of guides (Including the Bulldozer Overclocking Guide on this forum ) as a stepping stone but I just cant seem to figure this out.
Im gunning for at LEAST 4.5ghz. Any ideas?

The obvious stuff...

What CPU voltage are you getting under a load while testing. (and what voltage at idle?)

turned off APM? Turbo? Using fixed voltage for now?

Have you ruled out RAM and IMC as a source of instability? The AMD performance tuning guide recommends bumping up CPU-NB voltage even if you're not working on clocking the IMC or RAM up, as it seems to be a source of instability in overclocking for some. (1.25V should be plenty)

What temps are you getting while testing?

Overvolted....1.455v is very high for basically stock clocks, which leads me to assume you have auto CPUv settings?
