2600k vs. 2500k

All I do is game... so the 2500k makes sense... I do intend to keep this computer for at least (minimum) 2 years... if not 3-5 years as my main rig.

The only kinds of things I use other than gaming which require processing include encoding movies to a different file type (avi to mp4, etc), and doing random stuff like having fun with benchmarks.

I do intend to overclock.

2500k vs. 2600k??? Not sure which.

Main question:
How often do you encode?

If rarely, or every now and then, then just get the 2500K and upgrade your video card with the spare $

But the raw performance you get with that 100$ is huge.
