hi! i bought the 3x2GB OCZ Platinum PC12800 kit and im having problems to set it at default speed (1600Mhz)...

When i try to set it up it boots normally and everything works just fine but sometimes it crashes and shows a BSOD with the error code "124"... i have tried everything to make it stable but i cant, so i need some advices to make my system stable...

Im using the "Memory Frequency Guide" from EVGA forums.

I was thinking that maybe is a motherboard problem or a RAM problem and i should RMA something... thats why i need some advices to make it stable at stock speeds

My system specs:
Core i7 920 2.66Ghz (stock)
Evga X58 3xSLI
OCZ3P1600LV6GK

After the bsod the debug report is this one... is a hardware problem? what should i replace?

I'm not sure if this helps you, but I couldn't run my memory at stock speeds until I updated my BIOS.

Other than that, check voltages and timings.

Burn it; start testing.

That & something to be aware of is that DDR3-1066 is the maximum "Intel spec" speed approved for X58.

Anything higher requires a higher ratio implemented by the mobo manufacturer, which can mean less than ideal results.

You got RAM for OCing...you should be OCing, at least try using the 2:8 or 2:10 ratio with increased BCLK.

Due to you trying to force a 2:12 ratio, you might need to increase QPI voltage.
