Hi, I don't really understand what is the difference between all the brands for the same chipset of a card. For example, I'm looking at a x1900gt (is that good? or should I get a x1800xt or should I wait until dx10 cards come out for them to drop the prices?) On newegg, ati, sapphire, and connect3d all make a x1900gt and the specs looks uh...identical, but the price differences on them are huge. I was just wondering what is causing the differences on these things.

some have higher memory and core clocks, also different companies have different warranties(not sure if that affects price though)

Also, different companies use different HSF designs, as well as different quality parts (caps and such). But yeah, the above posted basically stated everything, your paying for the build quality, and the customer support.

Well I like Sapphire personally, and so do most others...so they must be doing something right...

I'd wait for DX10 in a matter of weeks
