I swear the internet is like one big stupid circle. I'll be 90 one day and run into the same videos I saw 70 years ago.

Am I the only one who sees a violation of the laws of thermodynamics here? Water simply cannot react with itself and release energy. The energy required to break the chemical bonds would be equal to the energy released in formation of the chemical bonds. So where does this extra energy come from? I eagerly await the answer.

Conservation of mass and energy - energy cannot be created nor destroyed.
