a good dremel with the proper bits will cut allmost anything on a case
Yes, dremel is the way to go. Get yourself a pack of cutoff wheels (I believe they have heavy duty ones that are a little thicker and hold up better), you get something like 20 of them. If you are just doing long straight cuts you can also use a Rotozip with the metal cutting wheel but that will be too big if you are looking to make smaller holes like for fans.
EDIT...Yup, that is one, though that is the fancy kit. They also have just the hand unit with bits if you need to save some cash.
