They can interfere with fan controllers.

People say that they can cause issues with airflow, and I agree that this makes sense, but on my Antec P182, the temperatures and airflow from the fan are the same with and without the door closed (this is the only intake fan on my case). This could just be a matter with my specific case though.

I think that they will have an issue with most case doors. Also depends which fan controllor you get as some have bigger or longer nobs than others (haha that sounds werid). Most case doors can be taken off. If you dont want to do that you can always mount the fan controllor inverse so that it faces the mobo inside the case. I have seen it done that way quite a bit. I use my fan controllor to turn downmy san ace fans down when I am not benching my rig. Fan controllors are good if you have loud fans but if you dont there is not need into getting one IMO. Hope this helps.

well that would depend on what case you want, however with my setup ive never noticed a decrease in airflow at all, ive also never thought about it as the effects should be extremely neglegable. Im a little curious now and will try it but I doubt anything will happen.
I think convenience is a much bigger factor in deciding whether you want a door or not, they can be a bit irritating if you use your fan controllers alot or if your constantly changing DVDs.

The rig I'm building for this has a vanilla 480 so doors are a hazard.
