I was thinking of getting an Armor case, but I need to carry it with me on the plane (no way I'm letting that bang around in luggage) when I go to college. I will only travel twice a year at most. I haven't seen an Armor in person but after reading the dimensions, it is a MONSTER!

I need a tower that will fit an ATX motherboard and the case needs some room for a 8800 GTS and two hard drives. Cooling is something to consider. Any suggestions on what case I should buy or how I should carry it with me on the plane?

Well, the new lanbox from thermaltake is pretty small, but that's micro ATX and mini ITX forms, not ATX.

I was also looking at a Thermaltake Matrix VX. It is light and a mid-tower size, but does anyone have any experience with it?

I think my choice is either the Matrix VX or the Ammo.

I think you can get any case..throw it in a luggage case with Styrofoam or what you would use when you ship stuff

You can also disassemble your computer, have the new case shipped to your dorm, then assemble your computer there.
