Case suggestions -- help please!

519 Views 10 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Hi Im new
Currently i have a Rocketfish full tower... Sure i love it but it really is too big for the space that it's in. I'm looking for something smaller, possibly an antec 300 or something similar. However i'm not sure if something that small will fit my hardware and keep enough airflow. Must fit parts in sig rig. I hope to keep it light aluminum, no plastic, cheap crap. Try to stay under 150$ +rep for useful suggestions

Antec 300 of CM690 would do you fine.

A case I really enjoyed (although they are hard to find now) is the antec super lanboy. All aluminum, front and rear 120mm fans (front is open mesh before fan). It even comes with carrying straps. They typically sell for about $110.

It also has a really decent window. I ended up modding the window with a 120mm fan mount as well.

I ended up giving mine away but it was a stellar aluminum case for the price point.

CM690 and antec 300 have no aluminum components

also, take a look at the coolermaster 330/331/332/etc series. Solid little cases and smaller still than the 690. I love my 690, but I'm working on a 330 build right now.

Well the 300 is nice but if you want something a little bigger then you could get the Antec 900 two. That might be a bit too plastic though.

Or there is the Antec P series, the CM 690 is also a good case

I like CM690 case , since you can mod them and they are fairly cheap.

Well first you have to tell use what kind of motherboard you have, video cards, ATX, MICRO ATX, ect...

Going down size from a full, my recommendation would be a mid. I have an NZXT Tempest and I love it, small enough, nice lights and plenty room and not that big. The Alpha Mid-tower is small and compact too.

You could also try there LAN Box.

Has anyone ever went to a Manufacture's store and bought something refurbished? Like the Thermaltake store or the Coolmaster Store?
