CCC doesn't work for me?

1380 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  charbs152
On my parents' rig [specs below], CCC just won't open. Previously running Vista Home Premium 32-bit, got Windows 7 Professional 63-bit and CCC won't open?
On Vista I got some kind of error, and on Windows 7 it just doesn't do anything when I try opening CCC. I can see CCC and MOM in the processes tab of task manager but I can't get the actual app to open.

Q6600 @ stock
3gb 800Mhz
ATi Radeon HD 3450 [low profile]
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Any help?

Ty.

Easy fix, go to setup run the uninstall and before doing so install driver sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ . Once that is done reboot in safe mode and run that program a few times say 3-5 times just to make sure you clear it all. Go to the ati website and download the latest drivers. http://ati.amd.com/ You should see it on the front page, install and your good to go.

ccc sure as hell works on 64-bit OS.
Make sure you installed the correct drivers and didn't try to do a 32-bit install driver revision on a 64-bit OS.

Typo maybe? If you have nothing useful to say just don't comment.

What driver version is this? A simple reinstall should fix this right up>
