So, right now my AA tops out at 16xQCSAA, which is sweet. Would having CF 4850s enable higher AA than a single 4890? I thought I remembered seeing some SLI setups with 32x AA, but I'm not certain.

I play mainly TF2, and if I can get 32xQCSAA with CF and only 16x without, I will go CF for LESS JAGGIEZ!

I heard about that, and supposedly you can.

I know if you go into CCC and enable "edge detect AA" and I think kick the forced AA up to "16x" it will force 24x AA in games.

You can do 32X AA on SLI and Xfire. Though it's not really worth it, diminishing returns and what not. Well unless you play at 800x600.

I never put it above 4xAA anyway. Eliminates all the jaggies for me...

Why not get a better monitor instead? I don't see any jaggies past 8x, and a better monitor gets rid of the jaggies with less need for AA, and makes everything look better (instead of just lines like AA does).

yeah I was about to say it's not worth the performance loss running such a high AA just run as high a res as you can depends on monitor and then just use 2x AA or something of the sorts

Same I might be able to put on more AA if I tried but I only go for x4 and x8 at the most. After that for me im just losing FPS.

I enable VSync at all times, so FPS doesn't really effect me much, unless it's Crysis.
