Torn Banner Studios has revealed a new expansion for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare called Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior. According to the team, Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior will bring the most iconic warriors from the ancient world, epic new environments and all new game modes to the already expansive Chivalry content.
Yeah, Spike!

You know, Spike!

That channel that had one good show and now just does reruns of Cops and mid 90's-2000's wrestling?

The show was Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon, by the way.

To be fair the Chivalry guys are pretty awesome, and Chivalry is a good game.

Adding a bunch of different fighting styles from different cultures around the world should be pretty fun.

Oh Vanilla Chiv is amazing.
But teaming up with Spike?

The people who made a Deadliest Warrior game before and it flopped horribly?

Mmm, expectations ain't exactly high.

That doesn't even make sense, a different development team made Chivalry and is also developing this expansion. What does the team behind the Deadliest Warrior game have to do with this? I imagine they're only using them for the extensive research and information they have on the greatest warrior groups of all time and not to actually make the entire thing. Feel free to correct me if my information is false.
Spike was only watchable when they had the exclusivity deal with UFC. Now it's just dumb.

They're not developing alone. They're co-developing with 345 Games (Spike's in house game development team) with this expansion as well as working hand in hand with Spike themselves.

These are the same group of people who pushed out the horrific Deadliest Warrior games.

We don't know if it's going to be horrible, but they're doing a lot more than just giving them research.
I just got done playing chivalry and this will either be really cool, or really dumb.

But will it have Ninjas?
Meh, that medieval version was terrible. So much bugs in such a small game, one would think only bethesda is capable of it. Somehow I dont believe this will be different.

Terrible? I think it was pure genius. One of the most amusing games to spend time in.

Looking forward to this, a lot!
Maybe its me, but I dont find constantly getting stuck into invisible pits, trunks, walls, getting killed from behind the walls, unable to change or swing weapons till death because I got hit, forever screaming corpses, flying warmachines or randomly losing ranks and weapons genius.

I for sure have seen and experienced a few glitches here and there (they got a bit crazy when they released the last update, but they got fixed rather quick), but damn it, nowhere as bad as you make it to be.
All the stuff I mentioned and hundreds more were (or even still are) in game. It was easily one of the most bugged games I played in last years along with skyrim or heroes6 (nothing beats daggerfall or toee, but this came pretty close). Im not going to touch anything from them, even if I had to wait for m&b2 two more years.
Lol i found the glitches from chivalry hilarious.
The funniest episode I ever seen of Deadliest Warrior was "IRA (Irish Republican Army) vs Taliban". It was the biggest load of bulI have ever seen haha. The IRA had flame-throwers...and being from Armagh (bandit country) in Northern Ireland, I can say, the IRA never had flame-throwers lol.

I don't get the colloboration with the show, couldn't they just have released an expansion with these warriors without the entire show advertising? It's not like Deadliest Warrior own the rights to the warriors lol.
