I agree, with the 45 rep requirement, I have gained/ given huge amounts of rep at a time. when i give it I make sure they have helped me first.

It took me almost 4 months to get 35 rep and by then, the item I wanted to buy from a member had already been sold. I do suggest, that some research be done for added protection measures. I hate eBay as much as the next person but if someone does try to screw you, you can always get your money back.
