i felt like changing it and also it just cost about SGD$20 and it seems like the 5570 gives double the performance. i am wondering if its worth the change.
more of a trade.

thanks!

+1 for at least a noticable increase with those cards.

You can always get a 5750 or 5770 too! Very nice increase there.

Dunno if SGD20 is a lot or no, but a 5570 isn't exactly a powerhouse. If it was a dirt cheap upgrade, then good for you.
If you're in for cheap stuff, why not a second hand 9800GT? They have the "bad" habit of selling for some 50$, which is exactly the price of a new 5570. A 9800GT would perform some 3-4 times better than a 5570

If power is an issue, go snag a 9800GT Green from TD for like $75.

a 5570 should be a significant upgrade over a 5450. The 5570 I'd say is a little better than a 3870 or 2900xt. I would say if you can nab one for 75 and low profile it would be worth it since its very very low power.

The 9800GT will beat the the GT240. If your budget allows, you can often find 9800GTX+ (or GTS 250 which is the same thing) online for sale for quite cheap.

If you are considering a 5570, make sure you get the DDR5 models, looking at 10%+ better frames for same price (compared to DDR3). I have one in my HTPC and its perfect for 720p gaming (my HDTV is only 720p), DIRT2 on high @ 2xAA and steady 30fps, low power draw, pretty quiet.

You can get them passive too if noise is important to you.

If your rig and budget can handle it though no question 5770 is the way to go. If DX11 and eyefinity is not important I'd just snag a used 4850.....
