i had to buy some stuff used and reuse some stuff, but how is this for $360 shipped, no mail in rebates:
mobo: p43
cpu: E6600-lapped
cpu cooler: Evercool 95mm Ever Lubricate ($8, can't beat it)
GPU: 9800GT
ram: 4GB ddr2 800 (forgot the brand)
HDD: samsung 640gb F1
OS: XP ($9 for students, FTW)
PSU: HEC 585w
REUSING
cheapo case
dvd burner
80gb hdd
19" CRT
tube of AS ceramique i will borrow from a friend

great for a LAN rig, although if you invest another 100 and get blu-ray you can use it as a multi-media rig too.

idk, but its been working 24/7 for 7 years so its decent. Its the only reason I got a 4670, as a 4830 is only $10 more but would have required a $50 psu upgrade as well. So Ill be EXTREMELY pissed off if it doesnt work, lol.

Why the 4670 ICEQ? A 4830 would've been a better option for the same price. A small bump in PSU price would've supported it.

because a 4830 would have required a psu upgrade (only 15A @ 12V, lol), I dont think its worth the $60 extra the 4830 would cost with a new psu.
Any cheap psu id be worried about going out so id have to get a $50 psu which i want to avoid when mine works.

well i cancelled my order.
i dont want to get teh 4670 lol. Im looking at a 585w hec psu, it has decent reviews, for a 9800gt. opinions?
EDIT: changed order to 9800GT+585w HEC psu.
