Hello guys,
I just upgraded from an Phenom II x4 955, to the ryzen 5000 series. As part of my upgrade I got a slow cheap 32 Gb kit, Thaiphoon says I got a a-die samsumg mem, they don't oc as good as the b-die right?
Also I'm no expert to the modern overclock but xmp created by the manufactor seem a little relaxed 3200Mhz with 18-22-22-42 maybe has room for improvement, I tried some tutorials with ryzen dram calculator but I got stuck as samsum a-die is not availible.
So I got a few questions: should I go from overclocking?
Can you guys tell me a good start point? 3200 17-20-20-40 maybe?
Any tutorials maybe using asus mb as it will be easier to a noob to follow up ?
Thanks guys.
