the CM 212 evo is not the same as the 212 plus btw
and on that chart it shows low 40's but my lows are in mid 20's. I would be getting average idle temps of 32 at 4.3ghz and after I added the secondary fan for push-pull it lowered 3 degrees, 29c idle.
Xigmatek Gaia is a cheaper alternative to the 212+. I also prefer the mounting system. The thumb-screws are gravy, the rubber fan mounts are easier to re-use, and the posts make it easy to guide the sink straight on. I have both, and I'd definitely go for a Gaia if I need another 120mm cooler.
The EVO essentially is just a better fan, as far as I ever knew. The savings could easily net you that better fan of your choosing, or maybe just the 2nd for push-pull.
EVO is currently $40, and Gaia is currently $25. I've seen both $5 cheaper before.
