I was wondering how much a bottom of the line water cooling system would cost. Also, how much better than air cooling would it be.
Thanks

you can build a 3/8 for 60$ but it would be the same as a good air hs.
Look for some of Snerps posts here in the WC section, look in his sig for putting togather a cheap WC rig around $150.00 . Thats about as cheap as you can go and have something that will cool well and be upgradable..

yeah . .if you go below $100 then your probably getting the same performance as highend air for twice the cost . . . i could have probably gone air and had the same (if not better) results . . . but then it wouldn't look as good lol. . .

(BTW my kit matched my case and it cost ~120)

well if you were good at working metal like my friend is you could make the cpu block and you can make your own reservoir so all you need is a pump, radiator, lines fluid and fans (probably around 60US) thats what I plan to do
