i finally finished my new build...i am still within the warranty/return timeline, so i can return parts if they absolutely suck. I just need to know if the parts meet the crysis/halo 2 par, nothing else, im not looking for the best of the best parts, just a system that will run crysis/halo 2 on full settings smootly...

CURRENT BUILD

CPU: THIS

PSU: THIS

GFX (gaming): THIS

GFX 2 (not sli, for dual monitor support): THIS

MOBO: THIS

DDR2: THIS X2

I think you should get a 640MB instead and drop the second card.

Agreed. Or if you can push yourself to a GTX, get that.

Here's a better motherboard for the same price. The ASUS P5NE-SLI, for 87$ OEM.
Socket 945 is not very well respected for overclocking. plus with this board you get tons of options, AND 1333 support, aswell as quad readiness and sli. what more can ya ask for?

I agree with Coma and Empty. It would be best to get the 640MB version or a GTX instead of a second card, even for dual display. you w ill get a lot more performance out of it.
That psu has to go

That PSU gives me the willies. The rest seems ok, although even with one 8800 you will be able to do dual monitor.

Suggest getting a 640MB.
not sure about Crysis, but Halo 2 runs on High setting with 2xAA @ 1280x1024 (though a bit laggy) even on my Sempron Vista computer (in my sig)

agree with everyone else, the mobo and PSU seems a bit weak.
