ok goal for this was right around a 800 dollar system after rebates Not including monitor's
Uses:
minor animation (very minor)
graphics design
solid works (old revision)
sketchup
BF2

Will be overclocking to 3.8-4.0ghz 24/7 clock

CPU: Intel Pentium E5200

mobo: EVGA 132-CK-NF78-TR

Memory: CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB)

Video card: EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB

PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX 520W

Case: SILVERSTONE TJ04B-W

CD/DVD drive: (2 of them) LG 22X DVD±R DVD

Harddrive: Western Digital Caviar 640GB 32mb cache

CPU cooler: XIGMATEK HDT-S1283

Thermal paste: Arctic Silver 5

Keyboard: Saitek PZ30AU

Mouse: Logitech G5

Fans: APEVIA 120mm

Monitors: (2 of them) Acer X193W+BD Black 19" 5ms Widescreen

total is 805 + shipping after mail in rebates

I would go with a the gigabyte p45-ud3p/r over the 780i to save a little cash if you're not planning to sli. You could use that money to upgrade to an E7400.

EDIT: is that a GTX or a GTX+?! reviews say its a gtx+ but product says GTX

I'd second that if you must go Nvidia. Getting a Gigabyte UD3P and a 4850/4870 would be a better choice for a budget. The Gigabyte board has top notch overclocks at a low price, $115. CrossFire two 4850's or 4870's will give you enough processing power for most everything.
Is modular that important to you? A Corsair 650w is only $70.
OCZ Freeze and Arctic Cooling MX-2 are both considered better than Arctic Silver 5.
For that price, a Cooler Master 690 is a better choice imo. In a budget, get a Cooler Master 590 ($60).

edit: Wow Cooler Master 690 has dropped $10 since I checked ten minutes ago. It's now $80.

u can get 22" LCDs for $30 more and they are much nicer.

i benefit having 2 screens as i can write a report on one screen and research on the other

im ordering monday thats when my settlement check gets here. would increase the budget but the camaro is getting a full forged engine build
