Checking if BIOS are up to date

My PC was built mid autumn (fall) but i would like to check my Board BIOS before i overclock my q6600 any more

use CPU-Z...the motherboard tab has your BIOS version...then go to Asus' website and see if there's a newer BIOS out

What Bazmecc said, it is in the BIOS section under motherboard tab. Or you can see it in the left down corner of post screen when you reboot pc.

anyone know if i must enter in all my clock, voltage ect' settings again once I've updated BIOS

You should clear the CMOS after a BIOS update so you will need to reset everything.
