Hey guys,

Like the title states, I'm trying to decide between a few monitors. On the list are the Dell U2312HM, HP 2511x, Asus VS239H-P, and now the Asus VG248QE. Right now the Dell is on sale for $219, which comes with 3 yr limited warranty, so it's a pretty killer deal if I'd be content with it. The HP2511x is a bit larger, but would come in at $280 with the addon 3 year "next day" warranty from HP. Last is the 144hz Asus, at $289 is a bit more than the others with the typical 3yr limited warranty.

A little about me: Currently using an old PC, Q6600 with a GTX8800. I've been using this PC on a 32" LCD TV @ 720p. I've been reasonably content with it, honestly. The screen actually has really good performance on a lot of areas, suprisingly. So, I've just build a new PC, it's a 3570k (will OC), 7870 LE [(7900 series Tahiti Core) will OC]. I'm looking for a monitor that will let me enjoy my PC to the fullest.

I am not a big FPS player. I play mostly MMOs, and that's about it. I might play the next COD with my brothers (now that I have a better pc), but I've always used the PS3 for FPS type games. Anyway, I'm looking for bang-for-your buck type performance, and something that will look the best. I am sensitive to motion, but I'm not sure it would matter on the games I play.

Looking for some people with experience with multiple types of monitors that enjoy the games I do. If you have a monitor you think would be better for under $400, feel free to suggest it. Out of all the pieces of my build, this one has been the hardest choice. Thanks for your help

Also, since I'm playing on a 32" atm, it would be nice to be slightly larger than 23", but I can make it work regardless. I can jump all the way up to the Auria AURIA EQ276W, but it seems they are extremely hit or miss, and nearly double the price. I'm unsure of their general response time/imput lag as well.
