Clamps & size's

I am doing a loop with 1/2" barbs and would like to know what size tubing to get and clamps?

I was thinking of getting 3/8" ID tubing with 1/2" OD

The clamps I am after are ones like these but what size do i need?

i would get 7/16 tubing

I'd go with 7/16'' ID or 1/2''. I know you can stretch 3/8'' over 1/2'' though.
