To reinstall windows on an SSD would you use diskpart before installing or format option on the install menu on win7 disc?

Apparently clean only marks files for deletion and windows format doesnt completely clear the drive.

Do i use HDDerase?

Did that, but no ones saying that secure erasing is what should be done

I'm going to secure erase using sean's guide with parted magic

Yep I liked the part of Sean's guide about it giving the SSD a power spike to shake up the electrons or somethingb:thumb: Working fine, WEI score still 7,9
