cleaning a laptop keyboard?

421 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Drift0r
You may have seen my post yesterday, about my friend spilling mountain dew on my laptop. Lucking, it works! A couple of the keys are really sticky, I was going to power it down and clean the keyboard with a q tip and rubbing alcohol, would there be a better way to clean it or will this be good? Thanks guys!

There should be screws at the bottom of the laptop to remove the keyboard. Just unlatch that thin wire that connects the keyboard to the motherboard and it should be much easier to clean.
