How do I get two pictures side by side so I can use the clone stamp tool to clone a part of image 1 onto image 2 in Photoshop CS5?

Thank you.

You just...can?

  1. Open your 1st file.
  2. After you open your first file, drag its tab out of the docking bar on the top of the screen:

  3. Open your second file. Do the same drag and drop thing to place both files on your work board, and resize them so that you can see the areas you will be cloning from and to simultaneously.
  4. Now all you have to do is select the clone stamp tool, use Alt to pick your source point/area and stamp away!

Have fun

Thanks for this.
When does the anti distortion tool come out? Did you ever see the demo?

An iteration of the tool (plugin) is already included on the CC version.
(Look under Filter>Sharpen>Shake Reduction)
