Hi all , 1st time poster here, long time reader..

This past week i ordered from amazon a club3d 7870xt tahiti 2gb and been playing some bf3 with it, but when i tried applying some oc to it my core clock mhz just jump around from stock value 925 to whatever value i put in it for example 1000mhz.. i used msi afterburner and got ccc 13.2..

im now unninstalling afterburner and keeping only ccc

i do not know what im doing wrong here, i hope i dont have to trade it for a new one, been loving using it thus far!

thanks daniel

Well that is what happens when you overclock. You either key in the number (in Mhz) at which you want your core to run or adjust the slider and then bench it with Heaven 3.0/4.0, Valley, 3DMark etc and check if it artifacts/crashes. If it does, you have to bump voltage in .05v to make it stable

Your gpu clocks will fluctuate to whats required. Try using "force constant voltage" in msi afterburner settings.
