Lots of stuff going here. I attached some pics, so it's a bit more friendly here in the first post. Only original project I have left is stevenma188's heatsink, which I should be finishing soon. I'll be starting some new projects of my own here soon. Look out for DICE pots and waterblocks.

I'm actually working on that ATM, but if you have a Solidworks, Autocad or whatever file of the OCN flame, send it my way.

If you want, go for it. I can accept pretty much any file type, though

120mm Fan Shrouds with unique features
140mm Same

Also buy one Case.. Like a Lian Li PC-A05B and cut a really awesome design in it. Sell it but make sure that the person that your selling to send thier case door to you. Then you have a unlimited supply of material. And really good paying jobs. I would ask 80.00 at least for the first one to cover the expence of the first case.

Good thoughts, but I don't want to do a production run.

I've got an Arctic Web TEC water block, and it needs a new mount so that it can fit on a LGA1366 socket (its only got LGA775/AM2 mounts). Its a very simple piece, its just that metal bracket you see with all the holes in it in the picture underneath.

If you can make one just like it but with holes for LGA1366 as well, I can stick it in my scanner and send you the exact dimensions of it.

Also, if its not too much, that block could also use a copper top (its currently half Al half Cu, which as you probably know is really bad in a WC loop).

Maybe. I'd need exact dimensions.

Somebody give me some dimensions and a drawing. This sound like a good lathe project

Pics?

Wow, that's alot of interest. I'll definitely be busy now...

Why yes, yes it could. However I think those games are the
, so I'm going to pass on making that. But yes, if you guys have a logo like Skyline just put up, they are stupid easy to make on the waterjet.

EDIT: @timw4mail All those pins on the underside terrify me. That would be pretty much impossible minus having, well, I don't know. The top side would be pretty simple, but all those pins on the underside. That's the stuff of nightmares.

PM me what you want. Any particular reason you have things done on laser? Waterjets can do pretty much exactly what a laser does and are cheaper to job out to. Although Im partial to waterjet work since we have one. The tolerances and restrictions are very similar. Either way Id be happy to do something for an idol. Your work is AMAZING.

Where did that come from? At my machine shop(it's actually owned by my dad, brother and myself), we have not laid anyone off, and the wages we pay are top-notch in the industry. The healthcare plan we have is paid entirely by us, with nothing out of their pocket. Everybody in the shop gets a minimum of 2 weeks paid vacation. The reason I posted up is our shop is busy, but I'M not. I like giving back to good communities, hence why I said preference goes to folders. OCN is an awesome community and has definitely helped me out, so I wanted to help this community out in return. My income is also not important to me. I own my house outright, and most everything else is paid off. I was smart and saved the money I earned through college, and was very careful about my spending habits. Yes, the job market is slim, but the way we planned our work and purchases at the shop was done so in a way that we only bought machines if we could buy them outright, allowing us to keep our workers employed even if work slowed up. While respectable that you are looking out for other people, please, know the circumstances first instead of firing off a post telling me what to do.

I am located in Canada, and would be more than happy to cover the extra cost of shipping to here.

Really appreciate what you are doing here.
Got a to-scale layout of the card? I'd need that in order to draw it up in my program.

Alright, so I've picked a few things out. First, I'm going to make the logo Radodrill sent me. Then, I'm going to do a few fan shrouds(as long as I get some good pics of them). After that I think I'm going to do a DICE pot, which I also needs ALL the dimensions on, as well as what type of material to use. I'm looking at all the other projects, but they may be a month or better down the road, minus a few PM's I have received.

Possible, but it will be a bit before I am going to give it a go.

i have the skills to CAD up a custom case from scratch, but i've been holding off.

I've never heard of "machinese"
but I do have some machines. We have several manual mills, lathes, drill presses a horizontal bandsaw, and a few vertical bandsaws. We are mainly a CNC shop, though. We have several vertical CNC's, 2 horizontals, a 5-axis, 3 turret cnc lathes(2 of which have live tooling), a waterjet, a CNC press and some other, more random equipment. We also have a CMM(coordinate measuring machine) and a great deal of welding stuff. The combo of these machines is capable of pretty much anything. File delivery? I have Mastercam, so I can import pretty much any file. .dwg works fine, and is a format I use on a daily basis. Cad that bad boy up, and I'll look at it. The lead time is enormous on something like that, though

.

It is, but it would probably hell on earth if I tried. On another note, I NEED YOU GUYS TO POST UP DRAWINGS OR CAD DESIGNS OF DICE POTS AND FAN SHROUDS. WHOEVER CAN GET THESE UP LOOKING THE BEST WILL GET A FREE SAMPLE(S).
