This is a very odd move. An apple netbook would directly compete with the 1000 dollar macbook.
Furthermore, it's a netbook, so people are still going to want a main computer. The thing is, after paying 500-700 for this high end netbook, people are just going to pick up a $400 dollar dell for home use.
I'm sure apple has something up their sleeve with this product.
