Hey guys, quick question..
Can MW2 be sold (PC) if it is used and on my steam account, really looking to get rid of it, taking too much of my study time. It's a disc ofc not digital.

If it's linked to your Steam account, you would need to give away your account with it. Just because you can't really play multiplayer if you registered the CD-Key onto your account.

I wouldn't actually mind doing this, got CoD4, MW2, GRID, CSS & Rainbow six. I checked on ebay I don't think it would actually sell really :/

Find out the Steam ID, if it's less than 5 or 6 digits long then some geek somewhere will buy it for sure.

Well, if you need to study and you're looking forward to playing again in the future, you could lend the account to a trustworthy friend you know in real life. Then just ask them to give it back when you're done with your studies.
And your friend gets 5 games to play.

It is against the Steam EULA to sell or even give away a Steam Account and/or Steam game. Once the game has been activated on Steam, it is tied to that account and cannot be traded to another account or sold to someone.

If you list an activated Steam game or account on eBay, the listing will be removed and you could be banned from eBay and it's not allowed to be sold anywhere.

Also, it doesn't matter if it's a disk or digital version of the game, both versions use SteamWorks and must be activated on a Steam account.
